THE CLUB

Members are justy proud of the club’s traditions. The member’s book almost provides a Victorian history of the town. For example, Frederick Monks (1834 – 1912) was a great liberal Industrialist who founded The White Cross Wire Company and with others Warrington Co-operative; he was a generous benefactor to the town with a particularly keen interest in nursing. His gifts include the Golden Gates and the Cromwell Memorial.

The Warrington Club is one of this historic town’s few remaining traditional establishments, it continues to provide a congenial meeting place for Warrington’s business community.

There is a very traditional dining room ; a snooker room and a meeting room which will accomodate up to 12 persons. Social events include annual snooker and golf tournaments.
